Tips to avoid Dark Circles

Dark circles are present under the lower eyelid. This is very common in both men and women. How beautiful you may look but a slight view of dark circles on your face looks awkward. Dark circles will even make you older than you are. This is one of the serious problems that need an in-time treatment. Or else it is very difficult to get rid of dark circles.

Causes of Dark Circles:

Dark circles caused mostly due to oversleeping. You need to have minimum sleep hours but don’t exceed it. Dark circles can even cause due to sun overexposure or eye strain by tv or computer. It is not an easy task to avoid dark circles. Check out some tips to avoid dark circles.

Tips to get rid of Dark Circles:

  • Cold Cucumber Slices: Cucumber has antioxidant that helps in reducing the puffiness or bags around the eyes. Cucumber is a natural ingredient to cure the skin tissues and curses under the eye from prominent. Cut thin cucumber slices and place it on the closed eye and leave for 10 minutes. Try this regularly to see the best results.


  • Tea Bags: The caffeine in the tea bags reduces fluid retention in the skin and shrinks the blood flows. This improves damaged skin and reduces puffiness. Apply cool tea bags on your eyelids and leaves for 5 to 10 minutes. Repeat this few times in a day to have glowing eyes.


  • Oils: You can try almond oil or pure coconut oil or argan oil for dark circles. These oils act as moistures and contain a lot of vitamins that reduce the blackness of the skin and repair the exposed skin tissues. Apply a few drops of any of these oils around your eyes for 2 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water.

  • Mint Leaves: The pure mint leaves have natural ingredients that repair the sun-exposed skin. Blend a few mint leaves and strain the content to extract the juice from it. Apply the juice with a pinch of turmeric around your eye and leave it to dry. After 20 minutes you can wash with cold water.
